We are United Methodists who love the Lord and desire to become the hands and feet of Jesus in the local marketplace by our example, service, and witness. We love to help folks grow in the faith and use a Road Map to Discipleship as our guide. The map helps you with the process of: Exploring in Jesus, Transforming in Jesus, Maturing in Jesus and Centering in Jesus.

Our heart is for you to know that you are welcomed here no matter your background or where you are on your spiritual journey! WORSHIP WITH US

We welcome you to join us for worship at 10:00AM - 11:00AM every Sunday in our historic sanctuary located at 724 Cypress Gardens Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. We have a standard Order of Worship based upon recommendations from the United Methodist Book of Worship. Yet, we maintain a local uniqueness that recognizes our history here in this sanctuary over the decades.

OUR COMMUNITY

Smyrna United Methodist Church has a long, proud history of serving the community of Moncks Corner and Summerville. Through the dedication of our leadership, pastor and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and are here to spread His message. We are open to worshipers of all ages and backgrounds, and strive to lead all who worship with us towards a deeper love for God.

We presently serve the following under the Helping Hands Ministry umbrella: Epworth Children’s Home, Berkeley Seniors, Callen-Lacey Residential Group, Sumter Free Health Clinic in St. Stephens, Dorchester Children’s Home, Changed Lives Ministry, Hannah’s House, Pimlico Ladies Club who make Comfort Kits for MUSC.
